Fantasy Football
So yesterday I notice Precious walking around the room. (Since Precious is my pseudonym for every kid, I don't know what I'll do if I ever have an actual student named Precious. We'll put that on the To Do list.) He has a baseball card and upon further examination I see he's on it with all his football stats. I can read height, weight, shoe size and favorite color, but no position. As I am nothing if not caring, I ask him, "What position do you play?" He looks straight at me and in a loud and articulate voice, "Diamondback". And now I'm wondering when he will strike. Happy Halloween!
